My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Roy Clark – If the world consisted of only Roy Clarks, it would undoubtedly be a much better place. Roy Clark has gone through the ringer. Roy was found by his foster mom with his brother Buck and quickly the pair became a trio with Greta. This was not the hardship that Roy Clark faced though, but undoubtedly a part of the strength he needed to overcome his adversity. Affectionately nicknamed RC Cola lost an eye due to an infection from being outside. Roy Clark also had an extreme hernia that needed emergency surgery to repair. Of course, Roy also started to get cataracts in his remaining good eye. Did any of this stop Roy Clark from being the best freaking cat on the planet? Not even in the slightest – he did not care at all what he was going through, he was still the most social and loving cat in a house consisting of many social and loving cats. This guy has been through it all, he’s seen the worst of what life can throw at a little cat and he came out the other side not only better but grateful and so incredibly loving towards the people who cared for him. Tina Turner inadvertently wrote a song about Roy Clark where she indirectly named him “Simply the best” and in addition to that, claimed that he was “better than all the rest” and his foster parents can attest to that. Can we guarantee that he’ll have his vision for the rest of his life? No we cannot, but we can confidently say that he’s simply the best. Will he need some extra special attention from time to time? Yes, he probably will, but by the time you know him, you’ll be so glad to give him any special attention that he may want. This guy is good with dogs (perhaps a little too daring with the dog at times), great with cats (would love to be adopted with his siblings Greta and Buck Rogers as they all love each other and would make for the most fun cat household there ever has been) and is ready to be your best freaking friend on the planet.

All of our cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested for FIV/FELV , and up to date on vaccinations including rabies, distemper, and dewormer.

You can meet some of our adorable cats and kittens during store hours at PetSmart, 385 Haggerty Rd. in Commerce Township.

If you are interested in adopting one or more of our lovable cats, please complete an Adoption Application form which can be found on our website at   www.locrami.com under Forms/Applications.

More about this rescue

We branched off of another rescue group in Oct of 2015, in order to concentrate solely on cats and kittens. We are a 501c3 foster-based group of dedicated volunteers, and our mission is finding homes for stray, abandoned, no longer wanted cats and kittens. We are a foster-based Rescue, meaning we have no brick and mortar facility. All our cats are cared for by foster caregivers in loving homes. We give medical help to sick and injured cats as needed. Donations, grants, and adoption fees are our sole means of income for our group. Volunteers are always welcomed and needed.
