My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Faster than a speeding bullet? Not this guy. Bullet walks leisurely on leash; sniffing the ground and dropping on his back to roll in the grass. Bullet is super sweet. He loves to get close for pets and he has the softest fur. He’ll make a great cuddle partner on cold winter nights. Bullet also knows sit, takes treats well and he gives paw.

*Adoptions are walk-in 12-6 daily at 2741 S. Western Ave. Chicago, IL

*The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID.

*All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up to date rabies vaccination for your dog or dogs.

*Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
