My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rooney is a mixed breed. He is approximately 1 year old and weighs approximately 70 pounds. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.

Rooney was rescued from the euthanasia list at a local shelter.

Rooney is a sweet, gentle, and calm boy. He loves to be indoors, hanging out with his humans.
This gentleman is crate trained and house trained. He does well with kids of all ages, cats, dogs, goats, pigs, and rabbits.

Rooney will require a fenced yard where he can run and play.

An application, veterinarian reference, and home check are required for each prospective foster / adopter.

There is an adoption fee of $125 for animals under 1 year of age and $100 for each animal 1 year and older. This fee helps cover the cost of vaccines, spay/neuter, and a microchip. Each animal in our rescue receives medical care from a veterinarian from the day they enter the rescue until the day they are adopted. This adoption fee covers only a small fraction of overall medical costs.

Fixing the Unbroken reserves the right to decline any foster or adoption for any reason.
