My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Millie, she is simply amazing. She is 2-3 years old, 54 lbs ( she needs to gain a few pounds), and is a stunning blue grey gal. Millie did not have an easy start to life, she came into rescue with her babies after living as a stray. She was an amazing momma and made sure her babies were well cared for. Millie and her babies soon learned how amazing life could be when she was rescued, she hopped in the car and never looked back. This angel has blossomed in foster care and become the gentlest, sweetest girl you will ever meet. Millie adores children and would do wonderfully in a home with them ( fostering with young children). She gets along great with other dogs. Millie loves attention and will lean into you or place her head on you with her soft loving eyes and sigh with happiness when she gets scratches. Millie is low to medium energy and prefers cuddling to hiking (who can blame her). Millie is an old soul with so much love to give, you can’t help but fall in love with her.

Millie is hw ( heartworm) negative, fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped.

More about this rescue

Northbound Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting primarily independent rescuers in rural North Western Mississippi. With many of these communities battling overpopulation, low local adoption rates and climbing medical bills, Northbound Rescue forms a partnership with these rescuers to assist them with medical care, fundraising, transport and rescue efforts in the Northeast.
Our vision is to help our partners in Mississippi get their animals proper medical care and find them their forever home in the Northeast.
Why we do it... every animal deserves to be loved safe and cared for, we are their voice.
