My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Craig!

This handsome guy has a big head and an even bigger heart!

Craig is 6 years old, and is both the sweetest and smartest buddy! He is a people pleaser, not devoted to only one person, but all of his foster family. He equally loves couch snuggles and walks. This cutie pie is extremely food motivated, and we have found that he learns new commands easily! He knows: SIT, PAW, STAY; we are working on HEEL. He walks mostly ok on the leash, pulls a little bit, but we are working on that. He is curious when he sees other dogs across the street but does not bark or react. We have experienced the same with squirrels and crows (and people). He does suffer from an extreme case of FOMO, good luck trying to get anything done without this guy velcro’d right by your side.

He is a silly lovable goofball, loves his toys, bully sticks, carrots and blueberries. He is so gentle taking a treat from your hand. He has wonderful manners and shows no aggression when removing toys or bones/bully sticks from his mouth. However, he HATES the cold and the vacuum :)

He is housebroken, but will pee immediately when he gets outside, even if it is on the front steps (we are working on that, too!). He is crate trained, goes in for the night or during the day without a struggle or a peep.

We think Craig would do best in a home with a fenced in yard, because this guy loves to run and play! But we think if he has a family to snuggle with on the couch, and go outside for exercise, he will do fine!

Demeanor: Affectionate, friendly, sweet.
Age: 6 years
Weight: 72 lbs.
Gender: Male
House broken, dog friendly, easily trained, and does fine alone.
