My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Capone is a lovable 7-year-old pup weighing 31 pounds with a unique background and an even more unique personality. Originally purchased as a puppy from a pet store, he was marketed as a French Bulldog and Beagle mix. Whatever his lineage may be, one thing is for sure—Capone is 100% amazing!

This housebroken boy is great with kids and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He has a warm, gentle nature that makes him a joy to have around. While he’s been kennel-trained, Capone would much rather spend his time with people who can give him the love and companionship he deserves.

Sadly, his previous family had to make the tough decision to rehome him due to long work hours, but Capone is ready to find a forever home where he can be part of the action and enjoy all the cuddles he loves so much. Could that be with you?

All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.

ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location.

Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. We understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.

Once your application is approved you will be contacted by the rescue and discuss the dog you are interested in and transportation.

Pay Fee

Adoptions include spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, health certificate and transportation.

All information regarding our dogs and transportation will be discussed prior to adoption.

Puppies under 6 months: $350
Dogs over 6 months: $300
(Special adoption fee applies to some dogs and puppies)

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
