My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

11 mos old KiKi was recently rescued from a No. Carolina public shelter where he landed after being found as a stray and spent months patiently waiting for his special someone to claim him. KiKi is grateful to finally be out of a cage and has quickly settled in showing his loving nature. He is super sweet, easy to pick up and easy going. Very curious and always inspecting what his foster mom is doing.Likes to cuddle. He likes to play with ribbon wand toys and will chase after toys. He's good at using the scratching post. Affectionate and friendly, he is sure to form a strong bond with with his family. KiKi is one VERY nice kitty...purrfect for a first time pet parent or experienced cat family. Microchipped. Additional adoption info

We strive to make the "purr-fect" match through our interview and application process. Adoption fees, which range from $165-$185, include all medical work (FELV/FIV testing, shots; spay/neuter, etc); home visits may be required prior to final placement. The majority of our kittens are only available for adoption in pairs or as a companion to another young cat/kitten already in the home. Sorry, but we do not adopt very young kittens to families with children under 6 yrs old due to safety concerns for both child and kitten. Adopters also receive a certificate for a free comprehensive wellness exam at any Caring Hands Animal Hospital.

Go meet their pets

All of our cats are cared for in cage-free private foster homes; therefore, we request an application be completed before setting up appointments to meet them. Request an application by emailing us through our website. Adopters must live within a reasonable driving distance to No. VA ( maximum 60 minutes); we do not ship/transport our animals.

More about this rescue

We are a small, private feline-only rescue group dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of homeless cats and kittens. We do not have a shelter and rely on a group of dedicated foster homes to care for our felines until a "fur-ever" home can be found. We actively promote the importance of spaying and neutering and best practices in companion animal care. The majority of our cats/kittens come from high-kill shelters. We do not receive any government funding and rely on private contributions, 100% of which go to provide medical care, food and supplies.
