Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
This is a good/bad situation for Mittens. He has been living as an outdoor community cat his whole life, but can no longer be outdoors because he is FIV+. The person who cared for him is no longer able to, and the HOA wanted him gone. They wrote, `He is a community cat, but he eats and sleeps in the garage and does not wander. He sleeps in the grass out front and loves petting from everyone.` Mittens is having a hard time adjusting to being in a kennel, and we totally get it. However, it`s like people and sugar. Sometimes you have to do what`s right, not what`s easy. The good news is Mittens will never be in danger again because of being outdoors. The other good news is that FIV+ cats usually die from old age, as long as they are in the appropriate environment. Can you help this kitty feel loved again? Maybe you have a catio, which he would love! Come and meet Mittens 11 to 4 Tuesday through Saturday. He needs some love.
