This young girl is not only beautiful, she is very sweet and friendly "at first sight". The gentleman who contacted us said she had started coming to his front porch daily back in September at which time he began to look after her. Because she was so friendly he did post on several websites hoping an owner would come forward. However, after almost 3 months nobody came foreward. Since he was not in a position to take her in (he already had four cats of his own) he reached out to several rescues. We were the only ones that responded and took her in at the end of December. She tested positive for FIV, however she is currently asymptomatic. Given the fact that she is so friendly there is no doubt that she would fit in with any family with or without other cats. Her coat is magnificent and has been identified as an abyssinian and tabby mix. Her pictures do not show her colors as well as seeing her in person. Once you meet her you will fall in love. If you are interested in meeting this girl, or any of our cats and kittens please get an application to adopt in as soon as possible. She is ready to make your aquaintance and make your day!

All of our cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested for FIV/FELV , and up to date on vaccinations including rabies, distemper, and dewormer.

You can meet some of our adorable cats and kittens during store hours at PetSmart, 385 Haggerty Rd. in Commerce Township.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

The process begins with the completion of our Adoption Application form on our website (locrami.com).

2.
Approve Application

We will do a vet check if you now own or have owned pets in the past.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

At the adoption you will sign our adoption contract, be given an adoption booklet with the cat's medical records, and pay the adoption fee.

Additional adoption info

After we receive your application we should get back to you in 2 days at most.
You will fill out a preliminary Getting to Know You pre-adoption form. We will interview you and possibly co-adopter, We will talk to your vet, make sure the address you give us is legitimate. When you are approved for adoption you will fill out a Final adoption Form. All of our cats who are adopted have a trial period and may be returned.
In general, we ask $150 for kittens and $130 for cats over a year of age. Our cats and kittens are spay/neutered, microchipped, up to date on rabies and distemper vaccines, tested for FIV and FeLV, and dewormed.

Our cats can be adopted at any time by arranging an appointment at a foster home or meeting at PetSmart, 385 Haggerty Road between 14 and 15 Mile Roads, in Commerce Twp. If you would like to see one of the cats you viewed online contact us via phone or email so we can make arrangements for you to meet them.

More about this rescue

We branched off of another rescue group in Oct of 2015, in order to concentrate solely on cats and kittens. We are a 501c3 foster-based group of dedicated volunteers, and our mission is finding homes for stray, abandoned, no longer wanted cats and kittens. We are a foster-based Rescue, meaning we have no brick and mortar facility. All our cats are cared for by foster caregivers in loving homes. We give medical help to sick and injured cats as needed. Donations, grants, and adoption fees are our sole means of income for our group. Volunteers are always welcomed and needed.
