My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sex: Female

Breed: Domestic Medium Hair

* If Other, please specify :

Colour/Pattern : Calico

Date of Birth (if known):

My Foster Likes (a few words or one sentence) : Laying the window, cuddling, napping

My Foster Dislikes (a few words or one sentence): Overly playful kittens invading her personal space

My Foster`s Ideal Home Would Have (a few words or one sentence): Quiet, a window to look out, someone to cuddle

Good with cats?: Tolerates

Good with dogs?: Unknown

Good with children?: Yes, but only older/quiet

Would this kitty enjoy an animal companion?: Unsure

Temperament: Mix of needy and independent

Ideal type of household?: Low activity, Medium activity

How long will it take kitty to settle into a new environment?: A few days

Foster cat`s bio for their adoption profile: Fran is a bit hesitant around new people but once she gets to know you she loves to cuddle and receives pets. She likes laying in the window and explores new surroundings at her own pace.

Any special needs or traits the adopter should know about? (we may add this to the bio): She hid for the first few days at her foster house, but slowly got braver. Her older kitten co-foster (who she was found with) is a bit too playful for her but she puts him in his place fairly quickly.

More about this rescue

Since 1996 SCAT Street Cat Rescue's prime focus has been feral cats because of the limited options available for them. TNR is a successful option instead of the traditional trap and kill. The majority of the cats rescued by SCAT, however, are socialized and available for adoption. As the city grows, so to does the need for our services. Adopt, Donate, Volunteer, TODAY!
