My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey everybody! I`m Troy! Did you know my name means `foot soldier` which is very fitting because I`m a dude who needs to be `on the go`. I`m an extremely active boy who will need a home with adopters who are as equally active as I am. So, no couch potatoes for me please! My ideal peeps will take me to training classes so I can learn boundaries and continue with my leash manners. I didn`t have a lot of structure, and because of my high energy level, I`ll need a regimen of at least an hour of exercise every morning and evening. I also need to work on my house training - What can I say, I`ll keep you on your toes! If you think you have what it takes to keep up with me be sure to inquire about me, because all I need is the right person to give me all I crave from life!

Submit Application

Either submit an application in advance of visiting or upon your visit. Staff will approve your application as quickly as possible.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Meet with pets that are a potential to be your new family member. (This can be done prior to your application being approved.)

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

Once you have found the right match staff will go over all the information you may need to help make the adoption successful.

BHS Adoption Hours:

Monday: Closed
Tuesday and Thursday: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Wednesday, Friday and Saturday: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Sunday Afternoon: 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Closed to the public at Noon on the last Wednesday of every month.
