My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Remy’s card says she’s 8 years old, but this girl doesn’t seem that old. She’s playful and still has a lot of pep in her step. Remy loves to cuddle (and not just because it was cold out). She leans in for pets and gives lots of kisses in return. Remy takes treats well and knows sit. She would love to have a short stay at the shelter and find a forever home.

*Adoptions are walk-in 12-6 daily at 2741 S. Western Ave. Chicago, IL

*The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID.

*All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up to date rabies vaccination for your dog or dogs.

*Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
