My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sissy! This approximately 10-year-old girl is the perfect couch potato to spend your downtime with! She would love a quiet home to spend her golden years being adored for the queen she is :) Sissy is good with both male and female dogs, but is definitely bossier and needs a friend that lets her be bossy. She ignores cats for the most part. She doesn't do well with smaller children but lives with teenagers currently that she adores! Sissy is housetrained and crate trained and is very food motivated. She has had some issues with allergies and has to take Apoquel on and off, but she's otherwise healthy and requires no other daily medications.

Sissy's adoption fee is sponsored (with approved application) and she will come fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. She is heartworm negative and is on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. She has also recently had bloodwork and all looks great! Her adoption fee also includes a one-time training consultation with our training partner, It's a Breeze Dog Training, to help integrate her into your home!

Go meet their pets

Helping Paws is a foster based rescue that does not have a facility to house our adoptables. We believe they are better off in a loving foster home while they wait for their forever family. If interested, please fill out an application, and we will set up a time to schedule a meet and greet for you and the animal.

More about this rescue

Helping PAWS is dedicated to improving the lives of animals locally, and nationally; alleviating their suffering and elevating their status in society through the rescue and rehabilitation of animals in need and through the education of their community on responsible pet ownership and animal welfare, advocating the value of all animal life, in hopes to end the neglect and abuse of all animals and to end the devastating pet overpopulation through spay and neuter advocacy.
