My name is Basil!

Basil is an older cat about 7 years old with some mild congestion problems. That’s just a long winded way to say his a stuffy old man!

He is always curious, constantly spending his time exploring his environment and wanting to spend time with people. He was very conflicted in the start, begging for attention but nervous about whether to trust. But once you’ve earned his trust he will always be in your business.
Simultaneously he likes to sleep up on top of a cat tower, away from people and disturbances. You could say he likes his personal space, but he also likes your personal space.

He really enjoys playing, preferring toys with lots of movement rather than anything that makes noise. He’s very smart, but we theorize that there’s some mild to moderate hearing loss as he doesn’t react to many things, and when he does hear something he can’t figure out where it’s coming from.

He’s free and if wanted we have toys and a bed for him. All we want is for him to be loved.
