Wary

Crostini is a very nervous cat, and her fosters are still working on socializing her. She came to us younger and later than her foster siblings Breadstick, Baguette, and Brioche, and is taking time to adjust to the life of a house cat. She is making slow but very real progress, responding well to treats but still easily scared and not ready yet for pets. Her fosters are looking forward to getting to know her better as she learns that humans are friends.

Crostini sometimes cuddles and plays with her foster brother Breadstick, and they may be a good pair to go together once she is ready for adoption.

Our adoptions coordinator will verify your application information, and someone from our team will meet with you at the lounge to introduce you to your potential forever friend. We adopt out based on the best match for pets, not on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Rescue and Relax is a Pittsburgh nonprofit animal rescue. We operate with a dedicated group of volunteers and foster homes, caring for homeless animals from across Western Pennsylvania until they can be placed in loving forever homes. Our cat lounge is home to between 15 and 20 adoptable cats at a time.
