Ski Bunny is a 1 year old Pug x Chihuahua mix looking forward to shredding some powder with her forever family! Ski Bunny came to our rescue with her tiny babies in need of some TLC. She has been with an amazing foster who helped rear her babies and now that they’re all grown up, she is looking forward to charting some new trails of her own. Ski Bunny weighs around 10 pounds and is a gorgeous fawn color. Ready to hit the slopes with the cutest sidekick? Bring Miss Ski Bunny on your next Tahoe adventure!

Ski Bunny is an affectionate and people-centered pup looking for her apres ski people! Ski Bunny is a world class cuddler who is hoping to find a family ready to have a constant little shadow. She supervises her foster mom as she works to bring home the bacon and is the cutest little company mascot. Ski Bunny has discovered a love for stuffed toys and has a huge collection of fluffy pals she carries from room to room. She even snuggles with them on the couch which is simply the sweetest thing in the world! Her foster shared an adorable story we are including here. “Ski Bunny attended a community festival and got so many snuggles and kisses that now she expects every interaction to end in a new Ski Bunny fan”. Only the best for our sweet girl! We can’t wait to see all the fun adventures Ski Bunny gets up to with her new humans, as she will be the perfect buddy for just about anything!

Ski Bunny wakes up around 7 AM and goes outside with her foster siblings to go potty. She comes inside for breakfast and then settles in to supervise her foster mom as she starts her workday. She’s fairly laid back so she gets up a few times to potty but is mostly happy to watch you work. She goes on a walk in the later afternoon and gets a yummy snack afterwards. Dinner is served at 6 PM and then Ski Bunny gets all the cuddles she could ever want on the couch before she goes to bed.

Ski Bunny lives with several dogs and cats and gets along fabulously with all of them. In fact, she even won over the resident dog who historically isn’t a fan of the revolving door of fosters. Ski Bunny is still figuring out how to “dog” so leash walking is a work in progress as is outside potty training. Her dream home would be one where her people are home most of the time or who want an adventure buddy! Come rent some skis and meet Ski Bunny!

Ski Bunny is an option for a variety of types of homes. Kids should be over the age of 5.

More about this rescue

We are passionate folks who love dogs and love people! We strive to make the most appropriate match between human and canine. Because our dogs live in foster homes we know about their temperament and personality and therefore can help families and individuals decide if the dog is a good match or not. We are excited to help people find the right pooch for them and look forward to meeting great folks and welcoming them into the DPS Family.
