Lorelai Gilmore is a young adult cat with a heart as big as her patience. Though she’s had a rough start on the streets with her rambunctious kitten, she’s now ready to leave her past behind and settle into a calm, loving home.
Once Lorelai feels safe and comfortable, she blooms into an affectionate and loving companion. She’s the type of cat who greets familiar people with purrs and biscuits—you know, those adorable kneading motions that show just how content she is. There’s nothing quite like seeing her soft paws knead the air as she purrs happily, a clear sign that she’s feeling the love and connection.
Lorelai’s calm and gentle nature makes her a fantastic companion for anyone looking for a quieter, more peaceful cat. She’s not one to make a lot of noise or demand attention, but when you sit quietly with her, she’ll curl up next to you and enjoy your presence. Her love is expressed in soft nudges and quiet purrs, and she’s the perfect cat to unwind with after a long day.
Her patience, likely honed while caring for her energetic kitten, extends to other cats as well. She’s incredibly tolerant and gentle, even with more playful or boisterous feline companions. She is currently fostered with other cats and very much wants to be their friend. When she’s feeling stressed or scared, Lorelai is not the type to hiss or lash out—she simply takes a step back and regains her composure in her own time. Because of her patience we can see her in a home with calmer children as well.
Lorelai can't wait to show you how wonderful life can be with a sweet soul like her by your side.

Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces the highest stray and animal overpopulation rates in the nation, with over 1 million homeless animals roaming its streets. That's why Three Little Pitties Rescue is on a mission to make a difference. As a nonprofit dog and cat rescue, we work hand in hand with the community to combat this crisis. Our goal is simple: to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing dogs and cats of all breeds from the streets or overcrowded shelters, where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Your interest and support mean the world to us and to the animals we serve. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission to give every animal a chance at a happy and loving home!
Our rescue is dedicated to making a difference. With close to 15,000 successful adoptions, we're committed to saving lives. We provide individualized socialization, training, and support based on the dog’s needs to ensure a smooth transition for both pet and owner. Plus, our adopters enjoy exclusive perks, including pet insurance, training sessions, and discounts on pet products.
Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Together, we can make a difference, one adoption at a time.
