Meet Draven! This handsome cat is very human-oriented and friendly. He wants to be where you are. Draven likes pets and the running wheel . Sometimes, maybe when he gets overstimulated, Draven’s eyes will bulge like he’s about to go full Nosferatu. Try not to take anything he says personally while he’s so worked up. He’ll come right back to you for more love and attention once he’s back to normal. Don’t worry! We promise Draven does not actually drink blood and his eyes won’t pop out of their sockets. Maybe he missed his calling as an actor.

Draven is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. As always, cat/kitten adoptions are free will donation to approved applicants. ****The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org****

Additional adoption info

All interested parties must fill out an adoption application and be approved prior to adoption. If a family has currently, or in the recent past had pets then a veterinary reference is required. If not then two personal references are required. Our adoption fees for dogs range from $150-$300. Our adoption fee for cats is free will donation. After an adoption has been approved an adoption contract must be signed.

More about this shelter

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.
