Meet Enzo, the 9-year-old chihuahua who's forever young at heart! Weighing in at just 5.8 lbs, this little guy is a bundle of joy and energy. He’s playful and full of life—always ready for a walk, a car ride, or a camping adventure.

Enzo LOVES to be the center of attention and is a pro at cuddling up in your lap while you relax. He would be more than happy to sleep with you, keeping you company all night long. His owner was wanting him to get more attention.

He just got neutered and had 2 teeth pulled and is not ready for his forever home. He’s sweet, gentle, and loving. Enzo is also great with kids and other dogs, always the social butterfly. Whether it’s watching movies together or taking a nap, this little guy will stick by your side, making every moment extra special! 💕🐾

Our adoption process involves completing a one-page adoption application. Applications are processed within 48 hours.

Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $130.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $300.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

More about this rescue

Camp Companion is a 501c3 organization established in 2003.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.

Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.

Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
