My story

It is the easiest way to start the communication and adoption process.

Introducing Chloe! This bouncy young lady came to us from our friends at Boston Animal Care and Control after being found as a stray. Many thanks to foster extraordinaire Noah for springing this cutie from the shelter and giving her a soft, warm place to land. Like many dogs, and pitties in particular, Chloe had a really hard time in the loud, crowded shelter. She is a sweet young gal who absolutely loves long leash walks and shredding toys (a pittie specialty  ) but is equally content snuggling up with her favorite human and snoozing away! As long as Chloe has your attention, she’s a happy gal! If it is deemed by the little lady that she’s not the center of your universe at that particular moment she will make the cutest piggy grunts to remind you of her presence. Once she’s satisfied that she has your love, you’ll be rewarded with the best pibble head tilt and full body wiggles. A close second on Chloe’s list of most favorite things is food. Any. Kind. Of. Food. This little one will work for treats! Chloe is an easy going kinda gal and could succeed in many different types of families. If you are looking to add an energy on demand house hippo to your family, look now further than miss Chloe!

More about this rescue

PittieLove Rescue Inc. is an all-volunteer, foster-home-based rescue dedicated to the care, understanding, and adoption of the American Pit Bull Terrier. As one of the most abused and misunderstood “breeds” of all time, PittieLove’s number one goal is for our rescued dogs to never suffer from neglect or abuse again, carefully placing them into loving homes where they will be ambassadors for the breed.
Working closely with MA shelters, MA animal control facilities and fellow rescue organizations, we help as many dogs in need as we have foster homes for. Before the dogs come into our rescue, they undergo a thorough temperament evaluation. If they pass, they are then placed into loving foster homes where they are provided with quality veterinary care, initial training and lots of socialization (with both people and animals of all ages). Our dogs are up to date on their vaccinations (age appropriate), spayed/neutered and micro-chipped prior to adoption.
