My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I’m available for adoption and I will be ready to go home once I`ve been spayed/neutered! Please read the questions and answers below to learn more about me. If I sound like a good fit, come out to Greenhill Humane Society to meet me!

Do you like other cats? I previously lived with a lot of other cats and would likely do well with another cat after a slow introduction period.

What do you think about living with a dog? I have no known history with dogs. I might do well with a dog after a slow introduction period.

How do you feel about kids? I previously lived with children and I`d likely do well with other kids but I`d like to meet any kids before going to live with them.

What was your previous home like? I lived with 31 other cats in a 3 bedroom home and I might have had access outside.

What’s your ideal home like? One where I can receive lots of love and attention with people who have plenty of time to play with me. I might have had access outside in my previous home but could likely adjust to living indoors only if I`m provided with enough entertainment and stimulation inside.

Is there anything else we should know about you? I am super cute and very sweet! Please ask about my medical release.
Greenhill Humane Society assisted Springfield Animal Control with response to an abandonment/neglect hoarding situation in January 2025 where they removed 31 felines from filthy and inadequate living conditions. Now that the cats have received care and a veterinary exam they are ready for adoption! These cats have always lived together and really enjoy being together, so if you adopt two of these felines together we are offering $20 off each cat’s adoption (working barn cats not included).

More about this shelter

Greenhill Humane Society has been caring for animals in Lane County since 1944. We operate the only animal shelter within the Eugene/Springfield area. Our programs include animal adoptions; reuniting lost animals with their families; disaster response; crisis care boarding in situations of domestic violence, medical emergencies, and other crisis situations; spay/neuter for free roaming, un-owned community cats; a pet pantry; on-site volunteer opportunities; foster care and humane education.

Last year, we helped reunite or find new loving homes for 2,826 animals. In addition, we provided 469 cat spay/neuter surgeries to assist cat caregivers in reducing feral cat over-population.

Greenhill is a private non-profit and relies on donations for a majority of its budget. The generosity of our local community enables us to provide a high level of care to lost, abandoned, and neglected animals while at the same time helping pet owners in need.
