My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Darla is a lovely older German Shepard. Don't let her age fool you. She loves to play. She will chase a ball for hours if you are willing to throw it for her. Darla needs to be an only pet. She is okay to turn out along side other dogs, but cannot be with other dogs. She is a princess and wants her own space. Darla has loved every person she has met and does great at the groomers.

Darla arrived as a stray so we aren't sure about her background. She knows basic commands and walks well on a leash. She loves attention. Darla still has a lot of life in her and is looking for a best friend that is okay with only having one best friend.

Darla is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations. She doesn't have any known health issues. Please consider giving this older gal a warm, comfy couch for her golden years.

More about this rescue

Happy Tails at Pegasus was established to provide temporary and transitional housing for animals in need by working with local rescues and shelters. We want to be that soft landing for animals that need immediate removal from their situation. We then work with rescues and fosters to find permanent homes. On occasion, we provide permanent sanctuary for animals that cannot be adopted out.
