Meet Arli! Arli is an approximately one-year-old, 10-pound Chihuahua mix looking for a forever family to call his own. Not much is known about Arli's past; he was humanely trapped while running around as a stray. He was very fearful when he first came to rescue, but has blossomed into a friendly and fun little guy! We think Arli may have some Jack Russell Terrier in his lineage; he certainly has the adorable spots on his fur, AND the energy-level of a Jack Russell. Arli loves to play with toys and other dogs. He would love a new buddy to zoom, zoom, zoom with in his new house. Bring your dog from home in to say hello! Arli is learning the leash and picking things up fast; he would love to go on walks and adventures with you. In addition to play time, Arli also loves snack time, pet time and zoom around and look cute time! Have you been looking for a lively young dog to add to your family? Adoption fees are dependent on the age and breed of the animal as well as monthly or seasonal promotions. Please inquire directly as to fee of any animal you're interested in. We do require meet & greets and adopter to be present in person and provide valid id.

More about this rescue

"Chi Town" is short for "Chihuahua Town," which is our nick-name because we found that the majority of animals we were rescuing happened to be Chihuahuas and literally have a little “town” comprised of Chihuahuas! Chihuahuas are one of the most over-bred dogs in Arizona and unfortunately many end up in need of rescue. However, we are not limited to saving just Chihuahas, we do save other breeds dependent on availability of space. Chi Town also specializes in rescuing dogs who require a little extra TLC and are at risk of euthanasia at county shelters. These dogs may not be doing well for a variety of reasons- fear, fear aggression, anxiety, or a medical issue to name a few. These are the dogs that typically have no other outlet and for which time is of the essence . After our dogs are medically cleared and/or their behavioral issues have improved, they are available for adoption.

Please be aware that we do our very best to answer all questions in a timely manner.
