Saloli came to Mountain Pet Rescue from Cherokee just before the hurricane hit. She was pregnant and had 11 puppies just a few weeks after she arrived. Her puppies are all old enough to be spayed and neutered and find homes of their own and now it's mama's turn!
Saloli weighs about 60 pounds and is probably about 2 years old. She is learning to walk on the leash and only pulls a little bit. She seems fine around the other dogs she has met and is in foster with an older male dog. She also is living with a younger kiddo in her home and seems to like him. Saloli is doing well with house training and sleeps in her crate at night. She spent her life living on a mountain before coming to us, so inside life is all new to her. Saloli is a lover girl and enjoys pets and attention
Saloli is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, heartworm negative, and on monthly flea/heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $200 and you can apply to adopt at mpravl.org
All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at pets@mpravl.org for more information.
Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.
Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax deductible charity (EIN 82-3039637) located in Asheville, NC.
