Meet Mama Pixie!

If you are looking for a gentle, sweet, and calm kitty, then Mama Pixie is your girl! At first, Mama Pixie may be a little shy, but with some time and patience, she warms up and becomes a loving companion. While she was in foster care, Mama Pixie demonstrated her caring nature when she had her three kittens with her. She was always gentle, polite, and had fun playing with them. Since entering foster care, Mama Pixie’s kittens have been adopted, and now Mama Pixie is ready to find her loving forever home that she deserves!

Being around other feline friends helps boost Mama Pixie’s confidence and showcases her warm and tender side. While Mama Pixie could tolerate being a solo kitty, she would appreciate having another calm kitty companion in her forever home. Mama Pixie has a peaceful energy about her that proves stillness isn’t a weakness, but a strength. Mama Pixie thrives in a serene environment, where quietness reigns over noise and chaos. Mama Pixie could do well with older children who will respect her boundaries.

Mama Pixie loves attention and seeks it out whenever her human is quiet and still. She feels uncomfortable when held or cuddled, but adores pets and laying near her humans. There's nothing quite like the feeling of her melting at the touch of your hand when you pet her.

After spending her early years as a stray, Mama Pixie is especially grateful for the simple things in life. Some of her favorite things are the comforts of a cozy blanket, cuddling next to her feline companions, and basking in the early morning sunlight while catching up with the activities of her feathered friends from a favorite spot by the window.

You will be emailed a link to our online adoption contract. Simply fill it out online to transfer ownership from the rescue to you!

Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines. We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion!

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent. We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age. We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
