My Story

I’m Reebok, a sweet and slightly shy 2-year-old Jindo mix boy with a pristine white coat. Weighing 14 kg (31 lbs), I have the classic Jindo look with a touch of charm that’s all my own. My journey began in a tough place—a pet shop in Gyeonggi-do where I wasn’t treated kindly. Thankfully, I was rescued in December 2024, and now I’m ready to find a family that will love and care for me forever.

My Personality

At first, I might seem a little reserved, but don’t let that fool you! Once I warm up to you (especially if you have a tasty treat in hand), I’ll be your loyal shadow, quietly following you around and enjoying your company. I’m not one for over-the-top excitement, but I’ll show you my affection in my own gentle and thoughtful way. While I prefer calm introductions, I warm up quickly and appreciate gentle pats and attention.

Around Other Dogs

I can be polite with other dogs, but I need careful introductions to avoid misunderstandings. If another dog gets too close too fast, I might react defensively. I’d be happiest as the only dog in a home where I can soak up all the love and attention without any competition. My ideal family will help me work on my social skills, especially on walks where I sometimes get a bit too eager when spotting other dogs.

Daily Adventures

I have a moderate energy level, meaning I enjoy outdoor activities and walks but am equally content to relax afterward. I’m still learning to feel confident on walks—loud noises or unexpected sights, like manhole covers, can make me nervous. With your patience and encouragement, I’ll gain more confidence and learn to enjoy exploring with you. I’m already quite good at walking on a leash, though I sometimes pull a bit when I get excited.

At Home

I’m a clean pup who prefers to do my business outside, though I sometimes mark new spaces—so a belly band might be handy at first! I’m not possessive about food, but I’d rather eat in peace without other dogs around. I have a soft, quiet side and love staying close to my people, hoping for a little attention and reassurance. You’ll love my subtle, endearing ways of asking for affection!

Why You’ll Love Me

I’m an old soul in a young dog’s body, and I bring a quiet, comforting presence to any home. My gentle nature, coupled with my classic Jindo loyalty, makes me a wonderful companion for someone looking for a calm and loving dog. With a little patience and kindness, I’ll thrive and show you just how sweet and devoted I can be.
