My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tilly was born in April 2022 weighs about ten pounds. She is a multi-colored torbi female with stripes and spots in gray, black, brown, beige and gold. Her eyes are bright and amber-colored. Tilly has a long tail, and long ears with tufts.  She's very curious, likes attention and loves to play, but also has a calm side. She's good with other cats, especially her best friend and housemate, Sweetie Pie. Tilly is very social and greets people who visit her and is happy to sit in an available lap. She likes to roll on her back and show her tummy and have it rubbed.  She is  a "fun" cat, active and  playful, following people around, requesting attention with a cute "chirp".  Tilly is a long-bodied female  with a very long tail and stretches out on the floor to  show you!  She is easy to be around and loves to chase bubbles and jump into a fresh basket of laundry! Her face is so beautiful and is topped off with lynx tuffs at the tip of her ears!  Tilly is and would love to be adopted together.

  • Both Tilly and Shorty have been given much attention and love.  They watch YouTube videos made for cats and enjoy having a small catio where they can safely sit outside. Although each one would be fine adopted alone, they would be happiest if they could stay together.

More about this rescue

Formed in 2008, Cinderella Pet Rescue was established to rescue animals from abuse, neglect and abandonment and to help prepare the for adoption. Additionally CPR promotes spay/neuter to reduce the serious homeless pet crisis in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. An all volunteer organization, there are normally between 55 and 65 dogs at our no-kill shelter as well as a couple dozen cats. Even more pets are placed in foster homes in preparation for adoption. Not funded by anyone, Cinderella Pet Rescue counts on donations and fundraisers to support the needs of the animals in care, from food to veterinary treatment. More volunteers and foster homes are always needed.
