Smiley is an XL Bully who came to us last fall when she was found as a stray after clearly being used as a breeding dog for several years.
Smiley had a low grade Mast Cell Tumor removed from her hind leg. Thankfully, the pathology report of the follow-up surgery showed that the tumor was removed in its entirety, and she is expected to have a normal life span.
Smiley is your typical happy-go-lucky Bully. Smiley has recently shown a dislike of crates, and we have gotten her a special crate, which will come with her as part of the adoption process.
Smiley is in a foster home with many other dogs and does well with them. She loves attention, and she wears herself out by chewing on a Kong Wubba.
Smiley is spayed, micro-chipped and up-to-date on her shots, and her adoption fee is only $180.00
Smiley is looking for a home, where she will be loved. Adopters must understand the breed. Due to her size, she is not a good fit for a home with small children.
XL Bullies are highly sought after breeds, and we will be very selective when it comes to her placement.

Prior to adopting any animals, you must complete Save One Soul’s adoption application, and go through the entire approval process, including a reference check and a home visit. The approval process is very thorough and can take a couple of weeks to complete. Our adoption fee of $150.00 is payable at the time the adoption gets finalized.
If you have dogs on your own, we verify with your veterinarian that your dogs are up to date on their vaccinations for: parvo, distemper, rabies and bordatella. Titer tests, showing adequate protection, are also acceptable. Providing your dog with flea and heartworm protection shows responsible dog ownership, and we do therefore check into this as part of our routine approval process.
It is our goal to make each and every single adoption experience a great one. We will do our best to determine that we make a great match the first time.

More about this rescue
Save One Soul was founded in July of 2016 by a group of friends who a share a love of dogs and a desire to help un-owned and shelter animals. Shelters and rescues do a very good job at adopting young and healthy dogs to the public, and there are organizations targeting cases of severe neglect and abuse. However, dogs with low to moderate illnesses and injuries, are frequently deemed not adoptable by shelters, and these dogs all too often get euthanized. It is our goal to save and rehabilitate these dogs by securing veterinary treatment and foster homes until they are ready for adoption.
