Meet Angelo, the strapping young Shephard mix who is as smart as they come. Angelo absolutely adores meeting new people who will play with him! His favorite things include: toys, treats, small cuddles, long walks, and training time! Since Angelo is a type of working breed, he really needs and enjoys when his brain is working to solve a puzzle or doing tricks for treats. Not only does he have mental smarts, but he is also physically smart! He is great at playing fetch, tug of war, and jumping for any type of toy. Angelo wants a home with that one person that he will love unconditionally and a place with soft beds for him to lounge around chewing on all the hard toys he can get his paws on!

Lake Norman Humane utilizes a conversational approach to the adoption process to help find the best match for your household. Please stop in to speak with an adoption counselor Tuesday-Friday between 12:00PM-6:00PM and on Saturday between 12:00PM-4:00PM.

We welcome visitors during our business hours:

Tuesday–Friday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Saturday: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Please note that the last tours are taken back 30 minutes before closing.

No appointment is needed to stop by during these hours! Upon arrival, you’ll complete a short adopter profile, and our team will pair you with an adoption counselor to help find your perfect match.

We offer same-day adoptions, but if you have a dog at home, we require a meet-and-greet to ensure compatibility.
