Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hi everyone, my name is Nicholas, and I was recently taken into the rescue after my previous family could no longer care for me. Sadly, this is a story we hear about all too often. Purchased on impulse for the children who then grow tired of caring for the animal and the parents have no interest. The bun is then given to another person who realizes rather quickly they do not or cannot care for the animal and we receive an email begging for our help.
We had a spot available, so Nicholas found himself with us. He was quite hormonal and boy we could not wait to have him neutered. Thankfully that is now behind him, and he came through with flying colors. He is now learning how to us his litterbox and we are hoping he is a fast learner. Nicholas is friendly however he does like his feet on the ground and is not a fan of being picked up. Quite normal for rabbits since they are a prey species. He would probably be a great bonding candidate for any spayed females searching for a bond mate. He is under a year of age and 4 lbs. We do not believe he will become any bigger than 5 lbs at most.
He is eating a proper diet of Oxbow Adult Timothy Pellets, lots of timothy hay and a big bowl of water that is changed daily. He loves his daily salad and eats safe greens like romaine, carrot tops and cilantro. He also loves any and all treats but in moderation of course. Banana, apple, carrots and even some blueberries are the way to this guys heart.
Would you consider opening your heart and home to this handsome guy?
