Hello there, I`m Baby. Life in this shelter is safe, but I dream of a home where I can hop around freely. I`m a mellow lady, preferring quiet corners and gentle strokes. I`m sweet, too, you`ll find me nuzzling your hand for a pat. I`ve got a lot of love to give, I just need someone to share it with. I may be an adult, but I`ve got plenty of years left to be your loyal companion. Why should you adopt me? Well, I believe every home could use a little more sweetness and calm, and that`s me in a nutshell.

More about this shelter

The Windsor/Essex County Humane Society was founded in 1926 and incorporated in 1949. The Humane Society has a publicly-tendered contract with the City of Windsor to provide animal control and basic shelter services in the City. This is only a portion of the work done by our organization. In 2016 almost 12,000 animal came through the doors of our shelter and spay/neuter clinic. We can’t help them without your support.
