Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
**CURRENTLY BEING HOUSE AT OUR FOREPAWS LOCATION** Located at 453 Ridge Road in Minooka. Open for viewing/adoptions during their regular business hours. Must apply in person. Feel free to call Forepaws for details at 779-456-7899
Meet Cobain & Ozzy, our two rockstar Guinea Pigs that were recently surrendered to our facility. Unfortunately, they were no longer wanted and we agreed to help them find their permanent forever homes. Cobain is the bigger of the two and he’s an adult. They weren’t sure of how old Cobain was when they got him. Ozzy is about 2-3 months old. Both enjoy fresh veggies and being held (once you can catch them! They’re quick!). With gentle pets and handling, they settle in fairly quickly. Guinea Pigs are great small critter pets but require just as much care and attention as other pets. They require a special diet of fresh vegetables and timothy hay each day. Frequent cage cleanings and need adequate space to thrive. They also need attention and playtime as well. And again (our favorite saying) please do your research before committing to an animal. Their adoption fee is $25 each, which does not come with a cage or supplies. They do not have to be adopted together.
