Meet Piper Chapman, a spirited pittie pup who’s breaking free from her past and ready to start a new chapter! Named after the bold and daring character from Orange is the New Black, Piper’s story is just as dramatic—she was left behind in a car after a high-speed chase, but she’s since found safety in foster care and is ready for her happily ever after. Fearless, confident, and wickedly smart, Piper is a fun-loving pup who’s always up for an adventure. Whether it’s learning new tricks, exploring the great outdoors, or just soaking up all the love, this little lady is ready to take life by the leash!
Piper is already showing her smarts, mastering "sit," "down," and a recall —especially when treats are involved. She’s learning that her crate is a cozy spot to wind down after a day of play and is eager to keep growing with the help of an active, training-focused family. Her energy and confidence make her a natural fit for someone looking to try dog sports or other fun activities. Due to her spirited and confident nature, she may be a bit to manage in a home with very small children. Currently fostered with another dog, Piper is respectful of boundaries and thrives with a canine companion who’s a balance of playful and calm to guide her. If you’re ready to bring home a pup with a little swagger and a whole lot of love to give, Piper Chapman might just be your perfect partner in crime (the cute and cuddly kind, of course).

Please visit www.hopeanimals.org/adopt to learn more about our adoption process and to complete an adoption application.
Adoption Fee includes spay/neuter*, microchipping, up-to-date vaccinations, and current heartworm and flea/tick preventatives.
*If pet is not old enough to be spayed or neutered prior to adoption, a $50.00 credit will be paid to your vet at the time of surgery.
We require a veterinary reference for current pet owners, and pets must be up to date on vaccines and heartworm preventative. We meet potential adopters in their homes and introduce the pets to the family's current pets to see if it is a good match. A copy of our adoption contract can be requested via email.
