My name is Michael!

Meet Michael, the ultimate cuddle buddy with a big heart and a few quirks! This sweet boy loves nothing more than sitting in your lap, pawing for pets, and being your loyal shadow. He’s a low-energy guy who’s happy to relax with you on lazy days but will perk up for some playful zoomies when the mood strikes.

Michael is good on a leash—he doesn’t pull—but can get overstimulated when he sees other dogs, squirrels, or even people. He’s good with other dogs as long as they don’t try to take his toys (he’s a little possessive with those). He’s not food-aggressive, doesn’t counter-surf, and is perfectly content hanging out quietly when you’re home.

Michael does have separation anxiety and some destructive tendencies when left alone, so he’ll need a home where he can’t free roam while unattended. That said, he free roams just fine at night and sleeps peacefully in the same spot. He would thrive in a quieter home where he isn’t overwhelmed by too much noise or commotion.
