My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

About Me:
If you're looking for someone who wears their heart on their sleeve, you've found her! I'm an affectionate soul who believes belly rubs are life's greatest treasure - and I'm not shy about asking for them! My enthusiasm for life shows in everything I do, from greeting my favorite people to showing off my signature move (rolling over for belly scratches, of course!). While I have plenty of energy and excitement to share, I'm also deeply loving and focused on building strong bonds with my humans.

What I'm Looking For:
I'm seeking an active, single-pet household where I can be your one and only furry companion. My perfect match would be someone who can channel my enthusiasm into positive activities while understanding that I need clear boundaries and guidance. I'd thrive with an experienced dog person who appreciates my affectionate nature but can also help me manage my excitement in a constructive way.

Special Notes:
Due to my strong personality, I need to be the only pet in the home. I'm looking for someone who understands that my exuberant nature requires dedicated training and consistent guidance. While I may be a bit much for some dogs, my love for humans knows no bounds - I just need the right person to help me be my best self. If you're ready for a devoted companion who will shower you with endless affection (and frequent requests for belly rubs!), we might be the perfect match!

More about this rescue

PAWS Columbus, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to prevent overpopulation and suffering of companion animals, to teach kindness and responsibility toward them, and to promote the remarkable capacity of pets to enrich human lives through pet-assisted therapy programs. We work in partnership with the City of Columbus to enhance and supplement the services offered by Animal Care and Control, reduce the need for euthanasia of unwanted animals because of severe pet overpopulation and find a loving and compatible forever home for every adoptable animal. PAWS is supported by private contributions from the citizens of our community. We are People Helping Animals, Animals Helping People.
