I've had Oakley for the last 5 years, and he has been an energetic and loyal companion.
He loves to run, go on walks, play tug of war, and explore new outside spaces and trails (on leash). But he also loves a good snooze. He will not be waking you up at 7am for his food bowl as he is content to sleep in! He is a huge snuggler and loves to curl up on the couch or next to you. He is a fierce protector of his humans and loves to watch out the window. He loves belly rubs, neck scratches, and booty scratches. He also loves acrylic chew toys, squeakers, tennis balls, and cheese.
At first, Oakley will be timid. He will likely shy away from being petted until he is more comfortable with you. He will take some time to warm up to a new human but once he does, he will want to be with you as much as possible. Oakley is house-trained, crate-trained, &neutered. Knows basic commands (sit, stay, paw, come here, no, etc.)
He does not get along with larger dogs, which is why we need to rehome him.
