My name is Mello!

Mello is the perfect family dog. He's a mix between a Mastiff Rottweiler and Boxer. He's neutered and up to date with all his vaccines and has been healthy his entire life. He's 6 years old now. We adopted him since he was an 8-week puppy and he's been a valuable part of our family since we got him. He is about 55lbs. His coat is black with white/brown marks (like a Rottweiler/Boxer color scheme although he has a Mastiff facial structure). He's crate trained house trained and obedient. He's gentle and friendly. Walks well with a leash. He loves people and other dogs. He can be playful but typically just likes to relax with us in the house. He grew up with children around him so he's great with kids even with our newborn. We're extremely heartbroken to think about giving him away. We can't keep him because my wife developed allergies due to her pregnancy and they've been difficult to manage. We just want to ensure that Mello goes to a caring family and lives happy in his new home.
