Meet Howlard, a 2-year-old Husky with a gentle soul who’s still learning to trust new people and experiences. ?? Howlard is a shy guy who can be a bit cautious with touch, but once he feels safe, he’s a sweet and affectionate companion. He takes his time warming up to new people, and with patience, he’ll open up and show his true personality.
During his in-kennel visits, Howlard showed progress in getting comfortable with human interaction. On his first visit, he cautiously accepted treats, and by the second, he allowed petting and even followed his visitor inside when it was time to leave. Though he’s still unsure about touch, he’s eager to bond once he feels secure.
Howlard will do best in a calm, patient home where he can continue building trust and confidence. He may need time to adjust to new environments, and experienced dog owners who understand shy and independent behavior will be a great match for him. With the right family, Howlard will thrive and become a loyal companion who’s ready for a forever home. Could that be with you?
