Take the Pet Home
Meet Gaia, an absolute lover-girl. She came into rescue with her brother Davy. She loves to rub and roll around on a lap or soft blanket and she has the quietest little purr. She is such a gentle, sweet soul.
She always accepts pets from everyone and will roll onto her side or back for extra rubs. She is very patient with our cat-savvy kids and loves to play with and get loved on by them.
When she is feeling brave she loves to explore our home and find the best perches. She is a bit nervous about our resident dog. She tends to hide when she knows our dog is out so I think she would be the most comfortable in a home without a dog.
She loves to play with a feather toy, plastic spring, or cat curl. She gets along well with cats and likes to hang out and play with her brother Davy who would ideally be adopted with her. If you are interested in this gentle, affectionate and playful pair Gaia and Davy would love to meet you!
Gaia relies on her companion Davy, they are very close. Because of this they will need to be adopted together. Click here to learn more about Davy.
I just joined my foster family and we are still getting acquainted with one another. Once they learn more about me, they will add more information here!
Gaia is from an owner surrender. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page.
If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.
