🐾🤎🖤🌴Meet Paige, a “Sato dog” from Puerto Rico! A “Sato dog” refers to the small to medium-sized stray dogs on the island. Island dogs are smart, loyal, highly trainable, and thrive on routines and consistency. They have wonderful demeanors, make devoted companions, adjust well to their environments, and are a perfect mix of energetic and affectionate. Paige will continue to work on all puppy-training concepts including: Basic leash training, potty, crate, socialization, etc. Structure goes far with praise and proper direction provided. There is no love like the love of an island dog!
Paige and her 5 siblings were found on a beach/surrounding Punta Santiago, PR. One of her siblings was dumped on the beach in a trash bag. Thankfully, this was witnessed and she was rescued followed by locating the other puppies. It is incredible after what these babies go through how trusting and loving they are. Paige is an incredibly sweet, outgoing, and spunky soul. She has a bright personality, adores meeting people, and loves cuddle time. Paige enjoys the company of her siblings, thrives with confidence, and will adjust easily in her environments. Overall, she is a well-rounded girl and has funny spurts of (turbo butt). She also shares her current foster home with cats and is curious with them-without issues. Paige and her littermates are extremely friendly and see no issues with interactions with kids, with proper introduction. (The mother and father of the litter is unknown).
