My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there! My name is Tay Tay! I am so ready to find my forever home. I am a bit of an adventurous kind of gal. I love exploring and finding out new things about this world. I am not a big fan of other dogs, so a home without other dogs may be best for me. I do love people and children. I am working really hard here at the shelter on becoming a well-mannered girl. I will need an owner who can continue my training so I can be the best girl I can be! I am a medium-sized girl and weigh about 64 pounds. Will you be my new family?

If you think I am the perfect girl for your home, please call the shelter at 719-686-7707 to schedule an appointment to meet me!

Additional adoption info

To adopt:
All adoptions must be done in person. Visit the shelter to meet the adoptable animals you would like to consider. TCRAS is open 6 days a week, please see hours of operation.

Your visit with each animal will be assisted by a trained adoption specialist to answer questions, address concerns and to help you decide if the animal is a good fit for your home environment (i.e. children, other pets, specific needs, etc). You can also bring in your current pets to do a visitation (this may be required with certain animals).
