VIP ADOPTABLE: heartworm positive

Hershey was found as a stray. He was trying to get into a hospital when it was cold and a security officer called our Animal Services Officers. Hershey served an extended stray time while we tried to locate an owner, but one was never found. Hershey is ready for a new forever home. Hershey tested positive for heartworms which is a treatable condition. Please ask any team member for more information about low cost treatment options and Hershey!

Arlington Animal Services adoption program is open to anyone wishing to adopt an animal. The adoption process is simple. You may visit the shelter or view our animals at www.arlingtontx.gov/animals. All pets are given initial vaccinations, appropriate testing (Heartworm or Cat Combo)and will be altered before releasing to their new home. Arlington residents are required to purchase a City license.
