My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Magnus— the most amazing fluffy orange cat you’ve ever met! I am a three year old male domestic medium/long hair orange tabby. Although I am still a young cat at just 3 years of age, I already have an amazing life story. My original owner, unfortunately, fell on hard times, and was caring for me while living out of their car, which was eventually impounded. When the car was impounded, my owner had to leave me behind as they could no longer care for me. As such, I had to survive on my own living outside for a little bit of time until I was eventually rescued and placed into foster care with Dirty Little Paws Rescue. My foster family says that I am truly one of the most special cats they have ever met. I love human interaction and affection so much. I spend all of my days lounging in my foster Dad’s lap while he is working at the computer. I simply do not want to leave his side or his lap. I love being held and receiving lots of pets. Also, if you place your hand next to my paws, I will just wrap my paws around your hand and hold your hand. My foster mom says it is so cute! I am truly such a loving and sweet cat and love nothing more than a warm lap to cuddle up in. As soon as you meet me, you will instantly fall in love. I am neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. I cannot wait to meet you!

Additional adoption info

Our pet adoption process is fairly straightforward as outlined above. Basically, our potential adopters can contact us regarding pets they may be interested in, or can meet our pets, we will discuss the pet they're interested in, have them fill out an adoption application and ask some questions around that. If we feel the pet is a fit for the adopter we will then have them complete an adoption agreement perform a home check and collect the adoption fee. We will then deliver the brand new pet to their Happy Forever Home!

More about this rescue

Dirty Little Paws is a new non-profit rescue in Southern California. We rescue from kill shelters and from the street, manage feral colonies, and promote TNR (trap, neuter, release).
Our mission is to save the lives of as many cats as possible. We respond to daily emergencies,
fully vet each cat, release ferals back into their colonies, rehabilitate some, make sick cats well, hold adoption fairs, educate the public, and place a strong emphasis
on sourcing donations through events & fundraisers so that this work may continue.
