Meet Ernie. He is a 6 year old poodle mix who has spent his life until now as a breeder. Because of his past, Ernie is still learning the ropes when it comes to living in a home. To start off, Ernie is a very sweet friendly little guy who likes spending time with people. He likes to sit and sleep next to you, but not quite brave enough yet to try sitting in a lap. Because of his size and timidness with fast movements only older children for him. He has done really well with the dogs and cats in his foster home and would do best going to a home with another dog. Ernie is not potty trained. He wears belly bands in the home and doesn’t mind those. Ernie can be vocal when crated or left alone so a home with no shared walls would be best. Ernie really is a great little guy who will make someone a wonderful companion.
