Mia is a gentle, resilient soul who has been patiently waiting for a family to call her own for the past four years. She was found as a stray, and for two long years, she lived in a busy city shelter, unsure of what the future would hold. Despite the challenges, Mia held onto hope. Then, she was rescued, only to face heartbreak once again when the group who saved her abandoned all the dogs in their care, leaving Mia to continue her journey without the support she had so desperately needed.
But Mia is not one to give up. She has kept her spirit alive through it all, and every person who meets her can’t help but be moved by her resilience and sweetness. Mia is 9 years old now, and while her past has been difficult, it hasn’t changed her loving heart. She is crate trained, potty trained, and a quiet, calm presence in any room. Her gratitude shines through in everything she does, and all she truly wants is a family to love and feel loved in return.
Mia may not have had the easiest start, but she is a testament to the power of love and perseverance. She is looking for a home where she can finally feel safe, cherished, and at peace. She’s not demanding—just content to be by your side, sharing quiet moments and offering unconditional love. If you open your heart to Mia, you’ll find that her loyalty and warmth will brighten your life in ways you never imagined.
Mia has waited long enough. She’s ready to find her forever family, and we know that with the right person, she will thrive and show them just how much love a sweet, grateful girl like her has to give. If you think Mia might be the companion you’ve been searching for, please reach out to schedule a meet and greet. You won’t regret meeting this incredible dog who truly deserves a second chance at happiness.

More about this rescue
We are a group of dedicated volunteers who initially came together to find homes for animals abandoned by a local rescue group. Over time, as word spread, people began asking for our help placing other animals in need. Our goal is simple: to ensure these animals find loving, permanent homes and never have to return to the shelters.
