Chrissy has had some tough times. Unexpectedly her owner passed away which caused her major grief. She moved into a foster home and while she was there, she was attacked by one of the resident dogs, so she moved to a new foster home. Our hearts went out to her, and we had her transported here in hopes of finding her a forever home. Despite all her hardships, she remains kind and loving. Chrissy is a joy and always happy to share her love with those she meets. Her ideal home would be one without young children as she has never been around them, so she is unsure. She will make a perfect companion dog for a quiet, calmer household. She loves going for walks and hanging out on her dog bed. She has a playful nature but is self-entertaining with her toys. Chrissy is house broken and does not need to be crated. She is unsure at times around other dogs and needs a supervised warm up time. Once she is comfortable with another dog, they can be buddies. Her main focus though is pleasing her humans. she knows her basic commands and will

Please go to our website to complete the adoption application. Applications are approved on a first-come, first-served basis and sometimes we get MANY applications for the same dog. Please give us a few days to contact you regarding the status of your application. If you haven't heard from us in 7 days, feel free to email to see if you were the lucky family to be chosen! Our adoption fee $425 regardless of the age or breed of the dog, as we believe ALL dogs are equal. We do have occasional "elderly" (over 7 years of age) and they are $250.00.

Many dogs are available for a monthly "meet and greet" held at our Genesee, WI rescue. We also do DAILY appointments with approved application. If you see a dog listed you are interested in, DO THE APPLICATION. ALL meet n greets are AFTER application approval. You will get a phone call or TEXT once you are approved to adopt.

Hoovers Hause is based in Olive Branch, MS. Just minutes south of Memphis, TN and the community needs a LOT of education about spay/neuter and we strive to do that along with helping the hundreds of dogs that are dumped, lost, starved, abused or just plain abandoned in the Memphis area everyday. Our second location is in Genesee, Wisconsin.
