Meet Hazelnut
Hazel is sweet, VERY shy girl. She is a Cavapoo mix, about 3-4 years old. Hazel is a very shy girl and will take time to warm up to you. She's fine with other dogs, but she loves to lounge as well.
Once Hazel warms up to you, which will take a little longer than normal, she will become your best friend. She doesn't really play a whole lot but doesn't mind being around other dogs. She doesn't really play with toys a whole lot.
Hazel and her newborn puppies were found in a box in California, brought to the shelter and then her and her babies were transported to us. We do not know what happened with her for her to be so scared of everything.
If interested please follow these steps:
1. fill out and submit an application online at:
https://form.jotform.com/240361716308149
2. Please send in home and yard photos for approval.
*please note: We like to do 2 week Foster to Adopts on adult dogs,so the dogs don't have to move around as much and they can bond and make sure they fit into your home before completion of adoption.*
Dogs adoption fee's will include vet visit/exam, spay/neuter, microchip, blood work up/dental if vet says it is needed, dewormed, up to date on shots (DHPP and Rabies, Bordetella can be done if requested we don't do it normally as we don't have the dogs in boarding, dog parks or high risk locations), Current on 1 dose of flea treatment in case they brought any with them from CA. If anything isn't mentioned please ask.
Adoption fees vary $300-$500 depending on the dog and medical care needed/required. Adoption fee for each dog will be noted in write up.
