Gus is a lovable, 2-year-old dog who weighs in at 43 pounds of pure charm. With a calm and gentle nature, he’s the perfect companion for those looking for a laid-back buddy who just wants to be by your side. While Gus isn’t overly interested in toys, he thrives on affection and absolutely adores chin scratches. He’s already mastered the "sit" and "lay down" commands, and being treat-motivated, learning new things comes easily to him. Though he pulls a bit on the leash, he’s eager to please and will happily walk beside you with a little guidance. Gus’s favorite place to be? Right next to you, soaking up all the love and stealing your heart with his sweet, easygoing presence. If you’re looking for a devoted friend to share your life with, Gus might just be the perfect fit!

More about this shelter
Springdale Animal Services' mission is to provide shelter and care to the thousands of stray, abandoned, abused, and neglected animals in need every year. We reunite lost pets with their owners, and place many that are homeless in caring, permanent homes. We strive to ensure the welfare and public safety of our community and its animals through education of our citizens and enforcement of our ordinances. We promote spaying/neutering all domestic animals at the earliest appropriate age, as a means of reducing their overpopulation.
