Meet Starboard, our charming 11-month-old orange feline who is ready to find his forever home! This handsome boy is part of our boat hoard and has a shy demeanor, but with the love and attention of our dedicated volunteers and staff, he’s slowly learning to trust. Starboard enjoys lounging at the top level of the cat tree, observing his surroundings, and is always on the lookout for delicious treats. He thrives in the company of other cats and shows a playful side when it comes to wand and string toys. With a patient adopter who understands that he might need a few days to adjust, Starboard will soon blossom into the affectionate companion that every orange cat has the potential to be. ADOPTION FEES (Subject to Change)

●All DOGS (over 6 months): $230.00
Adoption fee includes spay and neuter fee and sometimes microchip. Also included is the veterinary care to date: rabies vaccination, distemper vaccination, general de-worming, and treatment of fleas (if necessary.)

●PUPPIES (under 6 months): $230.00
Adoption fee includes a $35.00 deposit which is refundable once the dog is spayed or neutered. Also included is the veterinary care to date: rabies vaccination (if age appropriate,) distemper vaccination, general de-worming, and treatment for fleas (if necessary.)

●SENIOR DOGS: $150 Dogs over the age of 6.

●SPAYED AND NEUTERED KITTENS (under 8 months): $95.00
Adoption fee includes spay/neuter fee and the veterinary care to date, which includes rabies vaccination, distemper vaccination, FIV and Feline Leukemia testing, treatment for fleas and ear mites (if necessary,) and general de-worming.

●ADULT CATS AND UN-SPAYED/UN-NEUTERED KITTENS: $75.00
Adoption fee includes spay/neuter fee and the veterinary care to date: rabies vaccination, distemper vaccination, FIV and Feline Leukemia testing, treatment for fleas and ear mites (if necessary) and general de-worming.

●SENIOR CATS and SPECIAL NEEDS CATS: $55.00
Adoption fee includes spay/neuter fee and veterinary care to date: rabies vaccination, distemper vaccination, FIV and Feline Leukemia testing, treatment of fleas and ear mites (if necessary,) and general de-worming.

●SENIOR to SENIOR: Half Off
Adopters over the age of 65 adopting pets over the age of 7 the price will be reduced to half off.

*Adopting 2 kittens together will be $20 off the regular adoption fee.

*All adopters receive a free vet visit that will last 14 days after the adoption date.

*The ages of our animals are based on our best estimate. Since we often don’t have the history of an animal, we cannot guarantee a specific age.

We are dedicated to the prevention of animal cruelty and finding permanent, loving homes for companion animals. We service the community by sheltering animals, finding them homes, investigating reports of animal cruelty, educating people of all ages and rescuing animals from life threatening situations.
