My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet DIXIE! 🐾
This adorable girl is just the perfect package!! Dixie found herself, through no fault of her own, in a rural shelter that keep most of their pups outside under tarps and with hay in the winter. One look at that face and we scooped her right up. We were shocked to find out how sweet, loving and gentle this adorable doll was. This amazing girl just loves life and hanging out with her people and dog buddies. She is the first to welcome you home and last to leave your side. She has the perfect energy one is looking for in a dog. Dixie is approximately 5 months and practically out of all those time consuming puppy stages.
💖 Personality:
Goofy, playful and energetic. Dixie has a wonderful temperament and gets along great with her foster mates. She is super smart and a fast learner. She will be up for learning any new tricks you might want to throw her way. She is fostering in a home in Memphis, TN and her foster mom would love to tell you all about her. Dixie is going to be great family companion and she is ready to be your new best friend!
If you’re ready to give DIXIE a lifetime of belly rubs, treats, and a cozy bed, please reach out! Let’s find this sweet pup the forever home she soooo deserves. 🐶💕

*** We have a transport flight to Denver on February 7th, and it will be bringing our newly adopted pups to their forever homes! ***

Once adopted she will travel via the Rescue Transport to her new family. They travel each and every weekend from Memphis, Tennessee to the north east, delivering pups along the way as far north as West Greenwich, Rhode Island. Transport is an additional $185. If you would like to make this cutie part of your family please follow the link below to our adoption application. Our turnaround time is typically less than 24 hours so please be prepared before you submit your application.

More about this rescue

We are a rescue based out of Memphis, Tennessee with fosters and chapters in various parts of the United States. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home as many homeless pets in the mid-south as we possibly can to save them from euthanasia. Their only fault...there are just too many. The euthanasia rate in this city is a staggering 79%. We watch perfectly healthy, well-adjusted pets be euthanized daily because there simply are not enough homes for them all. The solution...stronger spay/neuter laws and education but until then, these pets deserve a future too!
